“To know today’s China, one must understand the Communist Party of China. ...... There goes a Chinese saying: a picture is worth a thousand words. Foreign friends are welcome to visit more places in China to gain a deeper understanding of China. At the same time, they can express their thoughts and experiences to more people around the world, so as to promote communication among people from different countries.”

From November 24th to 25th, a group of 17 teachers and international students, led by Dean Prof. Wu Gefei went to Jiaxing to carry out national education and practicing activities. It is extremely crucial for CUMT to guide international students to enhance their knowledge and understanding of contemporary China, gain a comprehensive and objective grasp of the country’s national conditions. This helps the school to cultivate international students who can become talented individuals with Chinese culture and values. Chinese and foreign teachers and students will learn valuable historical experiences and scientific and technological wisdom from the practical education on China’s national conditions in Jiaxing, and gain a deeper appreciation for China’s cultural heritage, its achievements in economic development, and the powerful impetus of scientific and technological innovation.
