On December 12, by our students achieved good results in the 2023 “Reading Jiangsu” themed activity for International students. The work of Khin Yee Ywe Piiiu, a Myanmar student, won the second prize in the short video category, and the work of Mohlammad Mahmudul Hassan, a Bangladeshi student, won the second prize in the photography category.

In this activity, international students were encouraged to read Chinese and foreign books, poems, and essays related to Jiangsu culture through various means such as reading good books, attending lectures, engaging in interactive exchanges, watching films, and visiting Jiangsu. In the course of the activities, international students will enhance their understanding of the connotations of “Strong, Wealthy, Beautiful, Prominent” in Jiangsu and of the excellent traditional Chinese culture.

In recent years, CUMT has attached great importance to the education of foreign students on China’s national conditions both inside and outside the classroom, inside and outside the university. It has also focused on cultivating and improving their awareness and ability to tell China’s story to the world while guiding them to understand the real, three-dimensional, and comprehensive China. To fully demonstrate the style of our students and attain their best, they are encouraged to actively participate in all kinds of activities, to learn by practicing, and to practice by learning.
