Chinese Government Scholarship
High Level Postgraduate Programme
“高水平研究生”项目是中国政府奖学金高校自主招生项目下的子项目。项目采取“个人申请、院校推荐、专家评审、择优录取”的原则，选拔具有优秀学科背景、专业能力及未来发展潜力的国际学生。项目相关内容简介如下：
The ‘High Level Postgraduate Programme’ is a sub-programme of the Chinese Government Scholarship Programme. The programme is based on the principles of "individual application, institutional recommendation, expert assessment and selection on the basis of merit", and selects international students with excellent academic background, professional ability and future development potential. A brief description of the programme is as follows:
一、招生类别/ Admission Category:
全日制在校研究生（硕士研究生、博士研究生）。
Full-time postgraduates and doctoral candidates.
二、招生对象/ Target students:
2023年9月入学新生。
The prospective students for September intake, 2023.
三、招生专业/ Majors：
具体招生专业请参考《附件1-中国矿业大学2023年CSC高水平研究生国际学生招生专业CSC Majors》。

四、申请条件/ Eligibility:
非中国籍公民，身心健康；
Be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China and be in good health both mentally and physically;
申请攻读硕士学位者，应当具有学士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过35周岁；
Be a bachelor's degree holder under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;
申请攻读博士学位者，应当具有硕士学位或同等学力，学习成绩优秀，年龄不超过40周岁；
Be a master's degree holder under the age of 40 when applying for doctoral programs;
申请以中文为专业教学语言的攻读硕士、博士学位者，中文水平须达到汉语水平考试（HSK）四级。
Have acquired the Chinese proficiency of HSK Level 4 when applying for Chinese taught master's or doctoral programs.
五、奖学金内容/ Scholarship:

The specific details of scholarship are subject to the information published on the "CSC Study in China" website (http://www.campuschina.org)
六、申请材料：
1.《中国政府奖学金申请表》(中文或英文填写)。
Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship (filled in Chinese or English).
2.护照首页。如现持有护照有效期不符合要求（护照有效期应晚于2023年9月1日），请及时换发新护照。
Copy of Passport Home Page. If the validity of the applicant’s current passport does not meet the requirement (should be valid later than1st September 2023), please renew it before submitting the application.
3.经公证的最高学历证明。如申请人为在校学生，须提交本人就读学校出具的预计毕业证明或在学证明。
A notarized certificate of the highest level of education. If the applicant is a student, he/she must submit a certificate of expected graduation or a certificate of attendance issued by his/her school.
4.学习成绩单（自本科阶段起）。成绩单扫描件应包括本科、硕士（如有）、博士（如有）学习阶段，直至最近一学期的成绩。成绩单应由就读学校教务处、研究生院或有关学生管理部门开具并盖章。可提供中/英文成绩单，如为英语以外语种，需另提供英文翻译件并公证。
Academic transcripts (from the undergraduate level onwards). Copies of transcripts should include grades from the undergraduate, master's (if any) and doctoral (if any) levels of study up to the most recent semester. These transcripts shall be issued and stamped by the university’s Registrar’s office, graduate school, or student management department. Transcripts can be provided in Chinese/English and, in the case of languages other than English, an additional English translation and notarization is required.
5.语言能力证明。选择以中文为教学语言的推荐人选，中文水平须达到《汉语水平考试》四级(HSK4)。选择以英文为教学语言的推荐人选，须提供雅思、托福或多邻国考试有效成绩证明。曾使用中文为教学语言获得中国高校学位的，无须提供《汉语水平考试》(HSK)证明。曾使用英文为教学语言获得学位的，须提供原就读学校出具的英文作为教学语言的证明材料。
Proof of language proficiency. Applicants for Chinese-taught programs must submit valid HSK 4 reports. Applicants for English-taught programs shall provide relevant language proficiency certificates according to the universities’ requirements, like IELTS、 TOFEL or Duolingo(englishtest.duolingo.com) report. For those who have received a degree from a Chinese university using Chinese as the medium of instruction, proof of HSK is not required. For those who have received their degree in English as the medium of instruction, they must provide proof from their original school.
6.来华学习计划(重点评审材料)。应提交中/英文学习计划（1000 字以上），博士研究生须由中方导师签字，学习计划只可以用中文或者英文书写。
A study plan proposal (focus of material review). A study plan (1000 words or more) in Chinese/English should be submitted. For PhD candidates the study plan needs to be signed by the Chinese supervisor.
7.两名教授或副教授的推荐信。内容应重点包含对申请人来华学习目标要求，中方院校或者中方导师与国外导师的合作情况或者校际交流情况，以及对学生综合能力，未来发展的评价，只可用中文或英文书写。
Two recommendation letters (written only in Chinese or English) from professors or associate professors. These letters should focus on the objectives of the applicant's study in China, the cooperation between the Chinese institution or the Chinese supervisor and the foreign supervisor or the inter-university exchange, as well as the evaluation of the student's overall ability and future development.
8. 导师接收函。（模板下载见《附件2-中国矿业大学国际学生招生推荐表、导师接收函Acceptance Letter Format》）申请攻读硕士或博士学位者建议提供导师接收函，可先与我校导师联系后获取，导师联系方式见《附件3-中国矿业大学导师联系方式Supervisors’ Contacts》。
Acceptance Letter. (Download format 《附件2-中国矿业大学国际学生招生推荐表、导师接收函Acceptance Letter Format》). Applicants for a Master's or PhD degree are advised to provide a letter of acceptance from a professor in our university. The contacts of supervisors can be found from 《附件3-中国矿业大学导师联系方式Supervisors’ Contacts》.
9.《外国人体格检查表》复印件（模板下载见《附件4外国人体格检查表 Foreigner Physical Examination Form》，原件自行保存，此表格由中国卫生检疫部门统一印制，须英文填写）。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查表》中要求的项目进行检查。缺项、未贴有本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师和医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查表》无效，检查结果有效期为6个月。
A photocopy of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form completed in English (Download format 《附件4外国人体格检查表 Foreigner Physical Examination Form》，the original copy shall be kept by the applicant). The form is designed by the Chinese quarantine authority. Applicants should strictly follow the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form with missing items, without a photo of the applicant or without a stamp on the photo, or without the signature and stamp of the doctor and hospital is invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.
10.无犯罪记录证明。申请人须提交由所在地公安机关出具的有效期内的无犯罪记录证明，通常应为提交申请之日前6个月以内的证明文件。
Non-criminal record report. The applicant shall submit a valid certificate of Non-Criminal Record issued by the local public security authority, which should normally be issued within 6 months prior to the submission date of the application.
七、申请步骤/ Application Process:
第一步：网上申请/Ⅰ Application Online
1. 申请人在“留学中国”网站 http://www.campuschina.org 申请，点击“中国政府奖学金留学管理信息系统”图标进入申请系统
Visit "CSC Study in China" website and click "Scholarship Application for Students" at http://www.campuschina.org
2. 填写申请人“个人资料”，留学项目种类选择“B类”，中国矿业大学机构编号为10290
Input Personal Details, and select Program Category "Type B". The Agency Number of China University of Mining and Technology is 10290
3. 录入“语言能力及学习计划”并上传“补充材料”，直至点击【提交】完成申请
Move on to the section of “Language Proficiency and Study Plan” and upload “Supporting Documents” as requested, then click “Submit” to complete the application
第二步：考试安排/Ⅱ Exam Arrangement
申请人资料审核通过后，学校会通过邮件通知申请人进行笔试和面试。
After the applicant's information is approved, CUMT will notify the applicant by email about the exam and interview.

第三步：录取与入学/Ⅲ Admission
申请人可在“中国政府奖学金留学管理信息系统”查询录取结果。被录取后，学生须严格按照学校规定的时间报到注册。报到时将核验最高学历证书及成绩单原件、《外国人体格检查表》、无犯罪证明、语言水平证明原件等申请材。
Applicants can check the admission results in the "Chinese Government Scholarship Study Abroad Management Information System". The applicant shall register at the China University of Mining and Technology within stipulated time. The original highest academic certificate and transcripts, the Foreigner's Medical Examination Form, a certificate of non-criminality and the original language proficiency certificate will be verified at the time of registration.
*境外学生入校报到事宜将根据中国入境政策另行通知。
*Overseas students will be notified of their arrival at the school in accordance with China's immigration policy.
