On the morning of November 21, the International College held a meeting to promote the undergraduate education and teaching assessment of the college in the conference room 2217. Dean Wu Gefei, Vice Dean Li Honghai, all faculty members and part-time counselors attended the meeting which was chaired by Vice Dean Li Honghai.
At the meeting, Vice Dean Li Honghai led them to study the learning manual—Audit and Evaluation of Education and Teaching of China University of Mining and Technology, conveying the core of the recent meeting which related to the audit and evaluation of the university. He introduced the key points of the audit, information of undergraduate education and teaching of the university and other related content in detail, and made specific arrangements and deployment for the college to carry out the evaluation work.
Dean Wu Gefei gave a concluding speech. He reiterated the importance of the undergraduate education and teaching audit and evaluation work, and requested that the entire college attach great importance to this work and make concerted efforts to facilitate the construction, improvement, management, strength and overall enhancement of all the work of the college through the audit and evaluation. He emphasized that all faculty members should conscientiously perform their work duties, adhere to regular learning and problem orientation, strengthen process management and result assessment, continuously improve their professional competence and comprehensive ability, and meet the audit and evaluation work with a high sense of responsibility.
The convening of this meeting marks a crucial stage in the audit and evaluation of undergraduate education and teaching in our university. The whole International College will take this meeting as an opportunity to further clarify the objectives, unify the ideas, strengthen the measures, and make every effort to carry out the assessment of undergraduate education and teaching audit. At the same time, this evaluation will also serve as an opportunity to strengthen internal management, enhance the improvement of education and teaching quality, and promote the high-quality development of the school's study abroad program in China.
